INTRODUCTION TO ICT

Today is the first day I am in ICT class. This class is conducted by Dr. Sopea. She explains about the course and the uses of ICT in our daily life. ICT is useful and helpful. It is an application of modern technology to interact and share information among people all fields and develop science through technology.

As one of the ICT functions is to help people developing education, it is good for educators to develop their knowledge and transfer it to people. As a teacher or an instructor, we can develop material and the way of teaching to the students by elaborating the element of the subject in order that the material is easy received by the students. So far, ICT gives easiness to run the teaching learning process. For example use Power Points presentation, Smart Board, Video, Email and others in teaching learning process helps in increasing student’s understanding.

ICT also contributes most in developing communication and sharing information. Fast and accurate messages can be received in a few seconds. In educational context, it helps the educators to develop the materials and academic subject, information of education and cooperation among the educational. In short, ICT is helpful to the personal development through modern technology. Educators can communicate with others all around the world.

Hopefully this class gives me a lot of information.
